During the semester,I enjoyed learning about new digital methods but also the dangers and issues with many digital platforms and methods I was not extremely eduacted on.
I knew the basics about the dangers of internet survelliance and algorithms but it was interesting to research deeper into these issues and learn more about the effects of the power companies and websites have over an individuals' data, information and identity.
I also enjoyed learning more about AI (and the dangers of AI) as it is such a topical issue around the world at the moment and the dangers of it should not be ignored. Deepfakes and increased use of generative AI
For the next semester, I want to develop my practical skills in the group project. I also hope the research element of the task may help me with research skills for my dissertation.
